Some of her highlighted post-secondary accomplishments include performing in Mainstage pieces and choreographing in Dance@Noon 2022 and Dance@Night 2024. In addition to formal dance education, she brings over ten years of experience as a competitive dancer previously with North Calgary Dance Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Various disciplines trained in include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, and Acro. Additionally, she has trained with Acrobatique and Acrobatics Arts for extensive periods through her teen years.

While she has spent much of her life dancing and will continue to do so, she has been extensively involved in the Canadian football scene as a highly trained equipment specialist. With over five years of experience ranging from youth to university to professional, her role has taught her the value of teamwork, dedication, and passion for what you do. Currently, she works for the Calgary Stampeders as a Game Day Equipment Assistant.

Hoban’s number one priority is the student’s health and safety. Through her post-secondary education, she had the opportunity to learn from Dr. Sarah Kenny in areas that included safe dance practice, various methods/approaches to optimizing training, and injury prevention. Both her dance and football experiences have taught Hoban the importance of recognizing the well-being of the athlete/student in such environments. Miss Olyvia strives to create fun, inclusive, and safe environments for her students.
