Miss Kaitlyn Watson
Teacher
Miss Kaitlyn was always an active kid who was enrolled in many sports such as gymnastics, figure skating, soccer, and swimming, but finally found her passion for dance at the age of 10. Once she began taking jazz and ballet classes, she couldn't help but fall in love with dance. She has continued her dance education over the years, and is now trained in jazz, ballet, pointe, acro, and contemporary.
Along side dance, Miss Kaitlyn also grew up pursuing competitive singing as another way to fulfill her love for the arts and performing. In 2018, Miss Kaitlyn won the studio scholarship award for being a positive impact at the studio and for always pushing herself and her teammates to do their best, and in her graduating year she won the Cathie Calgaro Memorial Scholarship for her team spirit in order to further her dance education. Using this scholarship, this past year Miss Kaitlyn has completed her Safe Dance Practice certificate in acro through the Safe Dance International Organization.
Miss Kaitlyn competed with Team Diversity for several years in an array of different styles and prides herself on being a team player and is always encouraging her fellow teammates and friends. Outside of the studio, Miss Kaitlyn is working towards her Bachelor of Nursing degree at the University of Calgary and is excited to continue her journey in the health field in the years to come along side maintaining her role at the studio.
Miss Kaitlyn looks forward to teaching and watching her students grow each and every week!
