Miss Shelby Rutten

Miss Shelby, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, embarked on her dance journey at the tender age of four. Versed in an array of styles – including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, and Hip Hop – she has achieved her Advanced certificates in Tap and Jazz through the ADAPT Syllabus and her Advanced Foundations through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Her training also includes studies in Jazz and Contemporary at the University of Calgary under the guidance of renowned instructors from around the world.
Miss Shelby holds her Registered Teacher Status with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique. Miss Shelby continues to expand her expertise by taking courses in Dance Science and Pointe. Miss Shelby performed with the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede for four years and has also performed in various dance shows across the city of Calgary.
Miss Shelby is passionate about passing on her love of dance and is always eager to inspire her students, just as her own teachers have inspired her throughout her dance career.
