Diversity’s Student Teachers are a group of senior-level students who demonstrate an interest in furthering their dance education by working with our younger students.
Our Student Teachers consist of kindhearted, enthusiastic, and responsible dancers who are a great asset to every child’s dance experience. Each of our Student Teachers must take a minimum of 3 classes per week, must be at least 13 years of age, continually show a positive work ethic in their own dance classes, and be a positive role model for all of their peers.
Each Student-Teacher volunteers their time a minimum of once per week with one of our younger dance classes. Our Student Teacher program helps our senior students gain work experience, classroom knowledge and gives them a peek into the world of being a dance teacher!
We hope to encourage a love of teaching in our students who may wish to pursue dance careers in the future.
