Miss Amelia Slatter
Teacher
Miss Amelia’s love of dance and performing started at just 3 years old when taking her first ever ballet class. Spring points, plié’s, performing on stage, she loved it all! At that point, she was hooked and trained in various styles like jazz, contemporary, acro, hip hop, ballet, open, enrichment, lyrical and her favourite, musical theatre! She became a competitive dancer at 5 years old and joined Team Diversity when she was 10 years old, where she remains to this day!
Miss Amelia received Diversity’s “Most Dedicated Dancer award” In 2023 for her positive attitude, sportsmanship, and dedication to performing arts, as well as numerous scholarships and awards from competitions over the years which she couldn’t have done without the love and support of her dance family!
As she continues her grade 12 year of high school, Miss Amelia hopes to one day pursue a career in business, entrepreneurship as well as early childhood education.
Miss Amelia is excited to join Diversity’s staff and work alongside the amazing people that have inspired her over the years.
